NAC Cleanses The Lungs, Makes You Feel Great, And Helps With COVID
Ahhhh - NAC.
In the past, this supplement went mostly unnoticed, but it has many great health benefits, putting it on the FDA's hit list these days.
N-acetyle-L-cysteine (NAC) is actually helpful for COVID, which is why it is yet another healthy supplement that's now getting harder to find.
In July 2020, the FDA sent warning letters to many vitamin companies informing them that N-acetyle-L-cysteine (NAC) cannot be lawfully marketed as a dietary supplement. Like HCQ and Ivermectin, NAC has a long history of safety, and was actually tested as a drug in the 1960s for treatment in acetaminophen poisoning and prevention of severe liver damage.
NAC
NAC is an essential amino acid, and you have to consume it in supplement form because you cannot make it naturally.
NAC is a precursor to L-cysteine, which is vital in creating glutathione, an important antioxidant made in your liver. L-cysteine can be captured in your foods, like eating animal protein and legumes, but there are differences between the amino acids.
When L-cysteine is in short supply within your body, it will convert glutathione back into L-cysteine. So proper diet and supplementation is necessary for balance, especially when your immune system is under stress.
Glutathione is made up of three amino acids—cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Glutathione is found in food, and is also synthesized in the body. Glutathione builds and repairs tissue, makes chemicals and proteins needed in your body, and supports your immune system.
It is recommended to supplement with NAC as opposed to supplementing with L-cysteine because your body will produce L-cysteine from NAC - it's always best for your body to do the work instead of depending on something else to do, and hence, developing dependencies.
Health Benefits
NAC has many health benefits, and has been used safely for decades. It helps with colds, the flu, and lung illnesses by breaking up mucus in people with some lung diseases, like chronic bronchitis. You can use NAC to:

protect your liver;
prevent kidney or neurologic damage caused by pharmaceutical drugs;
oxygenate your body;
improve memory;
slow aging;
increase energy
sleep better;
stimulate hair growth;
reduce anxiety;
lessen inflammation.
Banning NAC
The FDA is trying to ban NAC (maybe it’s best to say that they are making it VERY difficult to find), and for no legitimate reason.
Just like HCQ and Ivermectin, the FDA and Big Pharma are trying to shut down NAC because it helps with COVID.
Amazon decided to remove all supplements containing NAC from its website. In early 2021, many retailers started pulling NAC off their shelves despite fundamentally disagreeing with this decision.
I use powdered NAC from purebulk.com and also recommend 500 mg NOW brand NAC - these are good products for the price.
